This year, Georgia Tech is accepting applications in engineering, mathematics and physical sciences. Fellows are selected for a one-year term, with a renewal option for a second year, and an annual salary starting at $70,000. Each member of this year’s cohort is also provided: Faculty mentoring Professional development Academic networking opportunities Access to Georgia Tech’s services supporting our community of postdoctoral researchers Each Fellow identifies a Georgia Tech faculty mentor or mentors, who assist with developing a research plan. The Office of the Provost also provides regular outreach programs for professional growth throughout the year.

The cohort is part of a national program led by the University of California Office of the President. Georgia Tech PPFP Fellows are part of that national community of scholars and receive invitations to attend national meetings with peers from partner universities and targeted opportunities for job placement.

Candidates will be selected according to their academic accomplishments, the strength of their research proposal, and their potential for faculty careers that will contribute to diversity and equal opportunity through their teaching, research, and service. While all graduate students are eligible to apply, the selection committee prioritizes those without any prior post-doc experience.

Applications are due November 1. More information is available on the Fellowship Program website.
